Last Saturday was warm and windy. Perfect for kite flying and bug finding. This furry little caterpillar kept my boys busy for quite awhile. The adorable mini-kite above is from Hearth Song and I can't say enough good things about it. It is small, inexpensive, portable and so easy to use. Just hold them out and let the wind take them up. Singing "Oh, Let's Fly A Kite" from Mary Poppins is optional.
