The Secret Of Kells (Again)
We were lucky enough to get a second viewing of The Secret Of Kells last week.
I've already posted about it once, but I think it deserves another.
I have to say, it is one of my favorite movies now.
It is simply gorgeous.
Even though it was their second time seeing the film, my boys sat absolutely still the entire time. They didn't even ask for candy.

Sunflowers
These sunflowers came from the farmer's market. It's hard to tell from the picture but they are as big as pie plates.
I had so much fun carrying them around the market. But they were heavy! I didn't know flowers could weigh so much!

Strangers On A Train
One of the things that I love most about old movies is the fashion. Strangers On A Train was full of wonderful little tidbits that sent me searching the web. Here are just a few ways to make the look yours.
Black and white wingtips from Modcloth. Gorgeous Cat's Eye Glasses from Vintage 50s Eyewear on Etsy.
Gold Wire Name Brooch from Vintage Starr Beads on Etsy.

Back To The Ohio
Last week we were back at the Ohio Theater to see the Hitchcock classic Strangers On A Train.
I know I've already posted a lot of pictures of the theater but I just can't seem to help myself. It is so beautiful!

I even took a few blurry snapshots of myself in the gilded mirror in the downstairs lobby.

Scary From Spain
But, they can't be too gross and they have to be really scary.
So when I heard about a film from Spain, called Rec, and all the amazing reviews it got, I knew that I had to see it.
And I wasn't disappointed.
It was, in a word, terrifying.
By the end of the movie, I was hiding behind my husband. I could barely bring myself to watch.
So much fun.
P.S. Apparently there was an American remake called Quarantine. It did not get good reviews.
