Happy Birthday To Me!

It's my birthday today! I am 31 years old. That means that I am officially in my 30s.

P Is For Pencil Box

I was so touched the other day when Katie mentioned me on her absolutely wonderful blog Pencil Box. If you haven't read it before you really must and you'll be hooked. Not only does she take the most beautiful pictures but her writing is so sweet and straight from the heart. It is one of my favorite blogs and I'm betting it will become one of your favorites too.

Tweeting

Every night I tweet.

I do it religiously.

But I don't do it on Twitter.

You see, every night when I put my youngest to bed he pretends to be a bird. He's the baby bird and I'm the mama bird. We communicate by tweeting, literally.

Goodnight is "tweet tweet".

I love you is "tweet tweet tweet tweet".

It's not a complicated language. Most of the meaning lies in the inflection.

It's one of my favorite parts of the day.

Etsy-versary!

Today calls for a celebration! September first is my Etsy-versary! One year ago today I put the first items in my shop and officially opened for business. I have loved every minute of it since. I want to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and my shop this past year. I couldn't have done it without you. I am so excited about starting the second year of my business. I have so many ideas and projects in mind. Stay tuned!
